Our Chief Coloring Officer Paul Marciano

...ColorMe™ Company founder, Paul Marciano, gave his goddaughter a Christmas card.  It was a nice card, except that it did not hold much meaning for a young girl.  So she decorated it with crayons and proudly showed him the personal touch she added.  Paul realized right then and there that signing a store-bought card with sentiments written by a stranger paled in comparison with creating a unique greeting card. Thus, the idea for Coloring Card Company was born: Giving and receiving greeting cards should be a fun, creative, and a meaningful experience for both children and adults.

Believing in the continual process of “coloring outside the lines,” Paul, self proclaimed company CCO (Chief Coloring Officer), expanded beyond greeting cards to a line of t-shirts, pillowcases and Christmas stockings. He invited children to submit fun, creative designs that would be featured on cards and products. Soon talented young artists sent Paul artwork featuring whimsical characters including “Beach Girl,” horses, and the USA map, as well as secular Christmas and Nativity scenes and Hanukkah images.

Paul wants ColorMe™ products to foster simple, but time-honored values that enrich children's lives, such as sharing, patriotism and simply saying, “Thank you.” He insists that all ColorMe™ products are 100% cotton and American made. Additionally, a portion of each sale benefits charities such as First Book, a national organization that promotes child literacy, and The Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation, which aids children of officers killed on duty or while serving our country at home or abroad. By donating to these organizations, he hopes to color the world brighter for all children.
